In a Worm Gearbox, Worm Reduction Gear Box, Worm Speed Reducer, and Gear Motor Manufacturer, typically three to eleven gear teeth are in contact with the worm, depending on the ratio. The increased contact significantly boosts torque capacity and shock load resistance. Moreover, the expanded contact area on each gear tooth enhances power transmission and reduces stress. In double-enveloping worm gearing, these contact lines traverse the gear tooth, optimizing power transmission efficiency and reducing tooth stress.

Working Conditions

Two shafts intersect at a 90° angle, with an input speed limit of 1500 rpm. The working environment temperature should range between 0°C and 40°C. For temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C, lubricating oil must be pre-heated or cooled before usage. The worm shafts can operate in reverse as well.
